In 2024, NHI obtained a total of 32 patents, including 8 invention patents, 22 utility model patents, and 2 design patents. As of December 31, 2024, the company has accumulated 175 valid patents, including 71 invention patents, 101 utility model patents, and 3 design patents.
In 2025, the innovation momentum of NHI will not decrease, with 6 new patents added in the first quarter. As of now, the company has 181 valid patents, of which invention patents account for over 40%. The company's technological innovation and high-end equipment manufacturing level have reached a new level.

In the field of tunnel engineering equipment, NHI has successfully developed a deep shaft boring machine (VBE) with a diameter of 6.97 meters for hard rock excavation, filling the company's technical gap and bringing new solutions to the construction of pumped storage power stations, deep mine construction, and vertical shaft excavation in urban underground space development, opening up new business growth points.
At the same time, based on the original double car tippler technology, NHI has launched a foldable three car tippler system, achieving technological breakthroughs and possessing comprehensive design and development capabilities for single car tipplers, three pivot double car tipplers, two pivot double car tipplers, and three car tippler systems, enriching product categories and providing more efficient and accurate solutions for users with different needs.
In addition, in response to the requirements for fully explosion-proof and multi machine common rail intelligent fully enclosed coal material yard storage, NHI has developed a portal type scraper reclaimer with a span of 65m and a material reclaiming capacity of 700t/h. This four-bar linkage mechanism, which uses a connecting rod as the active component, is used in the scraper material taking device to achieve intelligent control, reduce equipment energy consumption, and enhance product market competitiveness.
Strengthen overseas layout and expand international markets
With the acceleration of global economic integration, NHI actively expands its overseas markets, and its products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions around the world.
In order to meet the development needs of overseas markets and reduce the operational risks of intellectual property, the company regularly conducts risk assessment and evaluation on the application, registration, maintenance, abandonment, licensing, transfer and other major matters of intellectual property, and uses it as an important basis for decision-making.
At the same time, the company has implemented patent layout overseas and has not encountered any intellectual property disputes so far, providing strong guarantees for the stable development of the company's overseas business.
